At Raise The Barr, we invest in the future of single-parent students and their families.
Single parents are resourceful, resilient, hard-working, and creative. They are always on duty, with little reprieve. And without the right resources, they often face barriers that others do not.
We partner with single-parent students and their children based in California and Minnesota to remove these barriers to imagine and create vibrant futures.
This is Etel, a two-time Raise The Barr cohort member based in California. Etel is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in business administration, and she is set to graduate in 2024. We are so proud of how far she has come in the past two years!
